Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has voiced his displeasure with Fox Sports host Skip Bayless, who has been consistently critical of the team since their playoff defeat to the Green Bay Packers.

In a recent statement on X, Parsons didn’t hold back, confronting Bayless for mocking both him and his podcast in a post last Sunday. He didn’t mince words when he asserted that Bayless is merely a counterfeit Cowboys fan.

“You just a hating (explitive) who mad I ain’t want to do your show?! Where was all this when you were on my (explitive) wanting me to come on your show every Tuesday!! You lame asf skip real (explitive), fake (explitive) cowboys fan!!”

The frustration from Parsons is understandable. However, it’s also understandable why Cowboys fans are upset.

Once again, a team that had been talking a big talk came up short in the playoffs. Not only did they come up short this year, they didn’t even win a game. Being knocked out by the Packers in the Wild Card round is a bad look for Dallas.

Typically, fans enjoy joining in on the criticism of Skip Bayless. However, given the Cowboys’ painful playoff loss, many of their supporters weren’t in the mood for Parsons’ aggressive response.

It will be interesting to see how the Cowboys respond next season. Mike McCarthy is back for one more run and Jerry Jones will be expecting much bigger results. Micah Parsons and company definitely need to step up.
