As the sports world eagerly anticipates the forthcoming developments within the Dallas Cowboys organization, it seems that the wait for additional statements from Jerry Jones will be more protracted than initially anticipated.

According to Shan Shariff from 105.3 The Fan, neither Jerry Jones nor his son Stephen are scheduled to make appearances on the station this week.

“Yes, they have come on in the past to recap the season, but their radio agreements for the year actually expire when the [Cowboys’] season ends.”

The Cowboys’ front office seems intent on keeping their opinions about head coach Mike McCarthy shielded from the public eye, and the conspicuous absence of immediate support following Sunday’s game could be interpreted as significant.

Jerry Jones had an opportunity to quell any rumors or speculations surrounding McCarthy’s job security but chose not to do so. Consequently, the speculation persists, with many speculating that McCarthy may have overseen his last game for the team.

Substantial transformations are on the horizon in Dallas following the loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. This playoff defeat marked the first occasion this season that the team had suffered a loss at home, and it came as a surprise given their status as the No. 2 seed, with widespread expectations that they would secure a place in the NFC Championship game at the very least.

With both Jerry Jones and his son maintaining a conspicuous silence regarding McCarthy’s job, it is almost certain that the speculation surrounding this matter will intensify over the next few days.
