Alabama Crimson Tide Looking To Be Huge Players In Transfer Portal

The Kalen DeBoer era has commenced in Tuscaloosa with the Alabama Crimson Tide, as he has taken the reins from Nick Saban.

His primary mission is to steer the program back to its winning ways in pursuit of national championships, as it has been a few seasons since the last championship victory.

To accomplish this goal, ESPN’s Greg McElroy suggests that Alabama must adopt an aggressive approach in the upcoming transfer portal opening in May.

McElroy believes that, despite some departures, Alabama still boasts a strong foundation heading into the season. He anticipates that the team will regain its competitive edge with the addition of new talents.

“Now, I think Alabama will be a huge player in May when the portal opens up. They’ve already added a couple of pieces from the portal this past weekend, like Parker Brailsford from Washington.”

Alabama recently faced a setback with a loss in the Rose Bowl against Michigan. Despite this setback, the program had secured a spot in the College Football Playoff after a victory over Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.

Although they couldn’t conquer Michigan, who ultimately clinched the championship, the Alabama Crimson Tide remain determined to return to the top. Bringing in elite talents via the transfer portal will be necessary for them to reach those goals.
