According to NBA insider Dave McMenamin of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers could trade for Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond.

The Lakers believe Drummond can help them in a potential playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, who won the NBA title last season.

“The Lakers have also considered dealing for players who could address specific needs in a potential playoff matchup, such as Andre Drummond of the Bulls, in anticipation of a postseason rematch with the Denver Nuggets and their big front line of Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon, sources said,” McMenamin wrote.

The Nuggets swept the Lakers in the 2023 Western Conference Finals. LAL didn’t have any answers for Denver stars Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon since Anthony Davis was the only formidable big man on the roster.
