According to NBA insider Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in trading for Atlanta Hawks star Dejounte Murray.

The Hawks are widely expected to move Murray before the February 8 trade deadline.

Murray is averaging 21.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.3 blocks this season while shooting 47.1% from the floor, 38.3% from 3 and 82.5% from the free-throw line. He’s making $17.7 million.

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Dejounte Murray, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks Updates

According to NBA insider Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, the Hawks want two first-round picks for Murray, who prefers to join a team with a chance to make an immediate playoff run.

“From people I’ve spoken with, the Hawks are asking for two firsts in return for Murray, who would prefer to join a team with a chance to make an immediate playoff run,” O’Connor wrote. “So far, no one has met their demands.”

The Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons are interested in acquiring Murray, sources told NBA Analysis Network.

Murray signed a four-year, $114 million extension with the Hawks in July. The Bucks, who acquired Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers last offseason, are 28-13 on the season. They are in second place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Milwaukee would have to include Bobby Portis and Pat Connaughton to even make a legal trade for Murray. The team only has two tradable future draft picks.
