The Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings or Indiana Pacers could trade for Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

The Raptors are expected to trade Siakam after trading OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.

“League personnel are certainly prepared for a Siakam trade to follow suit,” Fischer wrote. “Before this weekend’s deal, Siakam was the Toronto veteran whom rival executives were pegging as the most likely Raptor to be dealt, particularly after the team nearly sent Siakam to the Atlanta Hawks this summer, league sources told Yahoo Sports. He is under an expiring contract after his own extension talks fell short of a deal this fall. In addition to Atlanta, the Kings and Pacers have been routinely mentioned by NBA figures as potential suitors for Siakam.”

Siakam becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season. The NBA champion is averaging 21.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.2 blocks in 2023-24 while shooting 50.9% from the field, 24.8% from beyond the arc and 75.1% from the free-throw line.

A two-time All-Star, Siakam has career averages of 17.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks with the Raptors. He has made two All-NBA teams. The forward also won the 2018-19 Most Improved Player of the Year Award.
