New York Knicks veteran Taj Gibson told NBA reporter Mark Medina of The Messenger that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is “the GOAT of our generation.”

LeBron entered the NBA in 2003 as the first overall pick in the 2003 draft. Since then, he has become the leading scorer in NBA history and has won four MVPs, four titles and four Finals MVPs.

“He’s the GOAT of our generation. Nobody [else] is close,” Gibson said about LeBron. “A lot of respect for what he does. He’s playing beautiful basketball. He’s special. It’s the resiliency, the time and the test after test after test. As a culture, we keep putting so much on him and he performs each time.”

LeBron is the oldest player in the NBA right now. He turns 39 on December 30. However, the Lakers star is still one of the best players in the league.
