Former NBA star Brandon Jennings thinks Kevin Durant should leave the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns, despite having Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, are only 14-15 on the season.

Beal has only played in six games this season due to injuries. The Suns acquired the three-time All-Star from the Washington Wizards in June, creating a “Big 3” of Beal, Durant and Booker. However, the trio has only played in two games together this season.

NBA NEWS & RUMORS: Kevin Durant, Phoenix Suns Updates

Durant is frustrated with his situation with the Suns, according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The two-time Finals MVP requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets to the Suns last season.

“Start with Kevin Durant. You talk to people in Phoenix and around that organization, you know, they can feel the frustration with Durant,” Wojnarowski said. “Part of that, certainly, is the missed games for Brad Beal. This team was built around those three stars. The underwhelming supporting cast, that comes from those massive trades for Durant and Bradley Beal that really gutted the organization and let them having to sign a lot of minimum players to fill out the payroll.”

Durant wanted to get traded to the Suns to play with Booker and Chris Paul. Phoenix lost to the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals in six games. Paul was traded to the Wizards for Beal and Deandre Ayton was sent to the Portland Trail Blazers for Jusuf Nurkic this past offseason.

Durant is averaging 30.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists this season while shooting 51.8% from the field, 46.9% from beyond the arc and 87.5% from the free-throw line. The future Hall of Famer is making $46.4 million.
