NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Zach LaVine, OG Anunoby, Philadelphia 76ers Updates
LaVine doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract, so he can’t control where he gets traded. The two-time All-Star hasn’t played since November 28 due to a foot injury.
LaVine is averaging 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists this season while shooting 44.3% from the floor, 33.6% from 3 and 86.6% from the free-throw line. He signed a five-year, $215 million contract with the Bulls in July 2022.
Anunoby is one of the top two-way players in the NBA. For the Raptors this season, he’s averaging 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 46.9% from the field, 37.2% from beyond the arc and 69.2% from the foul line.
Anunoby has a player option for next season. He’s expected to decline it and enter unrestricted free agency after this season. The NBA champion signed a four-year, $72 million extension with the Raptors in December 2020.
The Sixers are 19-8 on the season. They are in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. Philadelphia doesn’t have to make a trade since Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris are one of the best “Big 3s” in the NBA.
