The Portland Trail Blazers have zero interest in trading Jerami Grant, according to NBA insider Danny Marang.

Many people around the NBA believe the Blazers will trade Grant before the trade deadline in February since the franchise is rebuilding and Grant is better suited to play for a contender.

However, Marang is hearing that the Blazers want to keep Grant.

Grant is averaging 22.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists this season while shooting 45.4% from the field, 40.2% from beyond the arc and 83.3% from the free-throw line. The forward is second on the Blazers in points per game.

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Jerami Grant, Portland Trail Blazers Updates

Grant signed a five-year, $160 million contract with the Blazers in July. The 29-year-old agreed to the deal before superstar point guard Damian Lillard requested a trade from Portland to the Miami Heat.

The Blazers wound up trading Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks for Jrue Holiday. The Blazers then sent Holiday to the Boston Celtics for Malcolm Brogdon and Robert Williams III.

Several NBA contenders are interested in acquiring Grant from the Blazers, who are only 6-19 on the season. Portland could change its stance on Grant if a team offers multiple first-round picks and impact players for the swingman.

For now, though, it sounds like the Blazers value Grant and want to keep him around. The Syracuse product has career averages of 12.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists with the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons and Blazers.
