With just a week remaining until the 2024 NFL Draft’s opening round kicks off on April 25, the destination of the top quarterbacks remains uncertain, adding an air of anticipation to the event.

While many speculate that Caleb Williams from the University of Southern California will secure the coveted No. 1 overall pick with the Chicago Bears, the paths of other elite quarterbacks remain veiled in uncertainty.

Among these talents is Jayden Daniels, the reigning Heisman Trophy holder, whose future placement could range from the second pick with the Washington Commanders to the third with the New England Patriots, or perhaps further down the draft order.

In the spotlight alongside Daniels is Drake Maye, both vying for attention from the Washington Commanders, who seem poised to select one of the two quarterbacks when their turn arrives at No. 2.

Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel is among those who recognize Daniels’ exceptional potential, labeling him as possessing “elite” talent, destined for stardom in the professional arena.

J.J. McCarthy, a standout from the University of Michigan, has also emerged as a contender for a top-three pick, with recent buzz bolstering his draft stock across various expert mock drafts.

However, it appears increasingly likely that Jayden Daniels will find himself either in Washington or New England to embark on his NFL journey. Both franchises, steeped in tradition, are in dire need of quarterback solutions, making the addition of a talent like Daniels, hailing from LSU, a promising step forward.
