Duke Blue Devils freshman forward Cameron Boozer is delivering a remarkable performance in his debut college season, showcasing skills that far exceed typical expectations for a first-year player.

The young star has quickly established himself as a dominant force in men’s college basketball, leading the Blue Devils with impressive all-around contributions on the court.

A particularly striking statistic highlights his unique impact, according to OptaStats.

“Cameron Boozer of @DukeMBB is the only DI player in the last 30 seasons to have at least 250 points, 100 rebounds and 40 assists through his first 11 career games.”

This achievement sets Boozer apart, as no other Division I athlete has matched this combination of scoring, rebounding, and playmaking so early in their collegiate tenure over the past three decades.

In reality, through his initial 11 contests, Boozer has tallied 256 points, grabbed 112 rebounds, and dished out 41 assists. Translating to per-game figures, he is producing averages of 23.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.

Beyond those core numbers, Boozer contributes 1.6 steals and 0.9 blocks each outing, while maintaining efficient shooting splits of 56.3% overall, 34.8% from beyond the arc, and 78.9% at the free-throw line.

As the offspring of ex-NBA standout Carlos Boozer, the current Blue Devil has propelled his squad to a flawless 11-0 record to start the campaign, featuring notable triumphs against strong conference opponents.

Boozer has consistently performed at a high level regardless of the competition, a trend likely to persist given his renowned maturity and refinement entering college.

Experts widely anticipate that Boozer will land among the top three selections in the 2026 NBA Draft, underscoring his potential as a future professional star whose ascent is only beginning.
