The Cleveland Browns enter the stretch run toward the NFL trade deadline with an offensive line that continues to search for reliable production, creating a natural opening for outside reinforcement.

General manager Andrew Berry has historically shown a willingness to deal as the deadline nears, yet the franchise has more often operated as a seller than an aggressive buyer in recent seasons.

That pattern could shift if the right interior lineman becomes available, particularly one capable of stabilizing a unit that has dealt with inconsistency and injury.

Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox identified the Browns as one of two logical landing spots for Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson in the site’s 2026 NFL Trade Block Big Board entering Week 6.

Knox ranked Dickerson third overall among potential trade candidates and assigned him a projected value of a conditional 2027 second-round pick.

The three-time Pro Bowler, who turned 28 this season, remains under contract through 2028 after signing a four-year, $84 million deal in 2024.

Knox noted that Dickerson’s availability would be a surprise development stemming from the Eagles’ recent decision to trade center Cam Jurgens, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting that some around the league would not be shocked if teams begin inquiring once Dickerson is healthy enough to return from injured reserve.

Dickerson has been sidelined since attempting to play through a knee injury in Week 1, a setback that placed him on injured reserve and limited his early-season impact.

When healthy, however, he has ranked among the league’s better interior linemen, combining size, power, and technique that would immediately upgrade most offensive fronts.

For Cleveland, the addition would address a clear positional need while offering multi-year control at a price that aligns with the Browns’ substantial draft capital.

A conditional second-round selection in 2027 represents significant but not prohibitive cost for a proven starter still in his prime.

Whether Philadelphia ultimately makes Dickerson available remains uncertain. The Eagles have already reshaped their offensive line once this season and are unlikely to part with him cheaply, especially given his remaining contract years and past Pro Bowl pedigree.

Still, Knox’s inclusion of the Browns among potential suitors underscores the fit: a team in need of interior line help that possesses both the draft resources and the long-term roster flexibility to absorb a deal of that magnitude.

As the November 10 deadline approaches, Cleveland’s interest in Dickerson will hinge on his recovery timeline and Philadelphia’s broader evaluation of its offensive line depth.

If those factors align, the Browns could position themselves as a realistic destination for one of the more intriguing names on this season’s trade market.
