Angel Reese is heading to Chicago for the WNBA All-Star festivities, where she is set to play in her third career All-Star Game.

While her impressive season averages of 15.4 points and 11.5 rebounds per game earned her a spot on the roster, Reese is equally excited to play the role of enthusiastic spectator during the weekend’s showcase events.

Her enthusiasm centers on her Atlanta Dream teammate, Rhyne Howard, who was selected as a contestant for the 3-Point Contest alongside notable shooters like Marina Mabrey, Azzi Fudd, Bridget Carleton, Natisha Hiedeman, and Janelle Salaun.

Upon hearing that Howard would be competing, Reese immediately voiced her support on social media and announced her plans to cheer from the front row at Wintrust Arena.

To show her support in full force, Reese posted a request to her followers on her Instagram story, asking if anyone could create a custom Rhyne Howard t-shirt and a sign for her to bring to the event on short notice.

“I need a RHYNE HOWARD TEE & SIGN made by FRIDAY,” Reese wrote on her story.

This isn’t the first time Reese has turned to her online fanbase for last-minute gear requests.

During the fifth game of the 2024 WNBA Finals, she asked fans on social media to design a split jersey featuring both Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart so she could support both stars simultaneously—a request that a resourceful fan fulfilled in under twenty-four hours.

As Friday’s competition approaches, Reese is hoping for similar speed and creativity from her followers to ensure she can cheer on her teammate in custom style.

Reese spent the first couple of years of her WNBA career with the Chicago Sky, the team that initially drafted her seventh overall back in 2024.

However, the Sky traded Reese to the Dream just before the start of the 2026 campaign.

Reese owns lifetime averages of 14.4 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
