Brian Thomas Jr. has no injury designation for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ game Sunday at Denver, clearing him to play through a shoulder injury, Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reported.

Thomas hurt the shoulder in the 34-10 season-opening win over the Cleveland Browns. He left in the second quarter and returned late in that quarter, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com.

All of his production came early. Thomas caught all three of his targets for 40 yards in the first quarter. He played only eight offensive snaps after the first quarter as Jacksonville built a big lead.

Coach Liam Coen said Monday that Thomas would be limited in practice but would play.

“I fully imagine him being able to play this game, no issues, just might not be able to get hit throughout the week or something,” Coen said.

Thomas practiced on a limited basis during the week.

The shoulder has bothered him before. He hurt it late in training camp and was back practicing in full more than a week before the opener.

Fellow receiver Jakobi Meyers is also cleared. Meyers was limited with a thumb injury but carries no designation.

The offense was sharp in Week 1. Trevor Lawrence completed 18 of 23 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns, and Meyers and Parker Washington both scored.

The matchup is harder this week. Thomas could see Pro Bowl cornerback Pat Surtain II.

Denver is short on offense. Running back RJ Harvey is unlikely to play with a hamstring injury, and the Broncos managed 176 yards from scrimmage in a 31-10 loss at Kansas City.

Jacksonville has won nine straight regular-season games, the longest active streak in the league. That run includes a 34-20 win in Denver in Week 16 last season, the only home loss the Broncos took in the 2025 regular season.

Kickoff is 4:05 p.m. ET at Empower Field at Mile High. Inactives are due around 2:35 p.m. ET.

Should the shoulder hold up, Thomas’ snap count is the number to watch in a crowded receiver room with Meyers and Washington.
